FREE DAY!!!! students are rewarded a in-class free day for show great growth throughout the school year and for working hard and completing I-STEP. Students will be allowed to spend their class time doing whatever they prefer. They may choose to talk quietly, listen to music, play games or any other activities available in class. Students must have turned in their persuasive dress code paragraph to be able to participate in the free day.
Thursday April 30.
Begin final unit of the school year- "A Mid-Summer's Nights Dream", Shakespeare. Reading and Language Arts classes will be combined today. Students will be starting their final unit of the school year by walking through a gallery of Shakespearian photography between Mrs. Nagel's and my room. The first time students have either of us they will walking through the gallery and complete the notice/wonder notes in the student resources. Once students have competed the gallery walk, they will be reading an article, "The Lure of Shakespeare" and completing a t-chart for advantages and disadvantages of the gallery and the article.
