Continue working on practice assessment with partner. Students will be developing the writing prompt that will go along with the text. This prompt should correlate with the questions asked about the text. This prompt must also be answered in a 3 paragraph essay with a into, body and conclusion as well as draw in evidence from the text to support the answer. Once the writing prompt is developed, students will work with their partner to make sure their entire assessment is all on one document. We will be going to the computer lab on Wednesday to print off the assessments.
I-STEP practice test. Students will be taking a practice test over two poems. For the first session, students will be given 15 minutes to read each poem and answer 2 multiple choice questions. Then students will be given 30 minutes to respond to a writing activity over the same two poems.
Partner Practice Assessment DUE!!! You MUST turn in your practice assessment to Miss Fife before you leave the computer lab. Be sure you had included the following on your practice assessment: 1. Clear, concise directions to follow in the beginning (refer back to the Forensic Evidence packet) 2. 2-4 pages of text from a Holocaust book 3. 6-8 quick answer questions about the text. USE THE HANDOUT FROM TODAY! (multiple choice, multiple answer, matching, highlighting, ect.) 4. In-depth writing prompt about the text. (provide instructions, prompt explanation, list of details to include) 5. A copy of line paper to write the essay on.
