From now until Spring Break, students will be working on a Grammar Unit. This will act as a review as well as introduce new aspects of grammar in preparation for round two of I-STEP in April.
Tuesday Mar. 10
Agenda: Students will be downloading the file below. This will provide students a review practice kinds of sentences, verbs, adverbs, prepositions, conjunctions, interjections, and complements: direct/indirect objects,subject compliments. Anything that students are unsure of or do not remember, they are encouraged to look up that part of grammar to familiarize themselves.

Agenda: Students will be grading the second part of the packet that they worked on yesterday. Students will record their score out of 30. Once all scores are recorded, students will be introduced to the grammar project we will be working on over the next few days and will be presenting next week. Agenda: Students will continue to work on their Grammar Projects. By the end of class today students should have their lessons planned. To be on track to present next week, students need to a have 5-10 slide presentation done by the end of their class period. As a class we will be going over the grading rubric so students know what is expected of them as they are creating their lessons.
Agenda: Silent Reading Day- Students may use this period to get caught up on their independent reading. The time spent reading can be used for time on their weekly reading logs. This allows the students to enhance their independent reading level and provide a quiet reading environment. Work Day- Students may also use this time to finish working on their lessons. Students will begin presenting their standards on Tuesday.
