Objective: Students will review what complete subjects are in a sentence and will be able to identify examples in a sentence. Standards: Agenda: Bell work for complete subjects. Students are given 5 sentences in which they must identify the COMPLETE subject in each. Class discussion over reviewing the different parts of a sentence, focusing on the subject, the complete subject specifically. After bell work is complete, students will read an example of a personal narrative. In a few weeks students will be writing their own personal narratives as their first long writing assignment for the course. As students are reading the example, they will notice several mistakes throughout, students are then to answer the multiple choice questions that follow concerning the grammatical errors in the example.
