E-learning Day: After you choose the state that you will concentrate on for the eLearning day, select a famous author, poet or writer of some sort from that state. After researching about the author, find an object that would represent them as a writer. Construct an expository paragraph stating the author, the object, how it connects to the writer and why you chose this particular object. You must also submit a picture of that object along with your paragraph. Example of Object: Use the example, Dr. Suess. If you were to find an object that represents him you might use the image of a cat with a hat on, or a picture of green colored eggs to represent a few of his books. You might also use a picture of a jack- o- lantern because that was the name of the first paper he ever worked for. It should be something that represents the author and shows meaning towards them. I hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any more questions. How you will be graded: 15 points total- 10 for your paragraph, 5 for your picture.
